This Engravable Hardwood and Polished Brass Desk Telescope is a beautiful antique reproduction that is not only an elegant piece of nautical decor for your home or office, but a functional one as well.  The refractor telescope is mounted on a hardwood stand and uses precision ground glass optics to produce a bright and clear 12-power non-inverted image. 

This beautiful hardwood and brass desk telescope is perfect for your office or home, near a window for viewing the water or terrestrial landscapes.  This desktop telescope is not designed for general stargazing, which requires a much higher power telescope, but it is perfect for watching the ships pass in the harbor and other landscapes.

The engravable hardwood and polished brass desk telescope is 14 inches (35.5 cm) long, the main tube is 1 3/4 inches (4.45 cm) in diameter, and it has an objective lens diameter of 38 mm.  A removable brass cap protects the objective lens.  The desk telescope is focused by rotating the large adjusting ring near the eyepiece.

The engravable hardwood and polished brass desk telescope can be personalized near the eyepiece with initials and/or a short message on the lens cap.
